Why Choose Fulcrum?
Fulcrum Maritime Systems has been conducting LRIT Conformance Tests since January 2009.
Our service includes a pre-test check of the information provided to us for the equipment and vessel against Inmarsat records, which means more tests pass first time!
Our dedicated Service Delivery Team is available 365 days a year to provide personal support for each LRIT Conformance Test submitted, ensuring you are kept informed at each step of the test process.
If the LRIT Test does not complete successfully first time, we will retest the equipment at no charge. If we suspect there are any issues with the equipment, our Service Delivery Team will work with you to identify the issue and the solution.
All our tests are treated as ‘fast track’ and Conformance Test Reports are provided immediately upon successful completion of the test (providing payment was made at the time of registration).
All customers will receive email status updates with a link to the location of the vessel at the start and completion of the Conformance Test procedure, enabling you to follow the progress of your test(s).
Fulcrum Maritime bears the BSI Kitemark. This is your assurance that samples are regularly subjected to rigorous, independent testing to ensure that we comply with stringent standards for safety, product performance, or reliability.
In addition, the Kitemark also means that the quality systems of Fulcrum Maritime where the LRIT Service is made, is systematically assessed. The Kitemark is therefore Fulcrum Maritime’s commitment towards maintaining the highest possible standards.
Fulcrum Maritime Systems is a global supplier of LRIT Conformance Testing Services, approved by over 90 Flag States (countries) as an Approved LRIT Testing ASP and providing LRIT Data Centre services to over 50 Flag States, including the European Union, the Caribbean Cooperative Data Centre and the Bahamas Maritime Authority.
We joined the Prototype LRIT Group in 2008, working with and supporting the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the International Mobile Satellite Organization – http://www.imso.org/public/LRIT) in the development of what is today, the international LRIT system.
Our LRIT Conformance Test procedure is a semi-automated procedure that is 100% compliant with the LRIT Regulations as defined in the IMO Circular MSC1/1307. We are authorised to provide the Conformance Test Report (or ‘CTR’) on behalf of most Flag States.
